Porsha Williams is no longer holding a peach.
As previously reported, the reality star is no longer part of the main cast on Bravo hit ‘The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ and will instead serve as an official “Friend Of The Housewives”.
Speculation has been rife, especially after Williams revealed that she was blindsided by the decision (and its subsequent announcement).
Clearing up the confusion, the creator of the Housewives franchise Andy Cohen has elaborated on the rationale.
His words below…
Via Andy Cohen:
“It had nothing to do with anything that happened at the reunion last season. Really, it was about the amount of story we got from Porsha this season. We went into it assuming she would be a full Housewife, holding a peach. We just haven’t gotten enough to merit that. She’s going to be in it a lot. We love her. I hope she’ll be on Bravo endlessly.”
And there you have it.
By the sounds of things, it seems a peach could be in Porsha’s future again if she plays her cards right — which we hope she does.

I love Porsha for her sweet spirit, but she’s dumb to let this happen. Record an album, pretend to design clothes, try to start a business, rent a man . . . IOWs, do something! She should have had something interesting to do planned in advance of the start of filming. She’s on a hit show. Claudia just took her spot. Porsha just got a demotion on the best gig ever.
But what exactly is Cynthia’s and Kenyas story line? They had the same story line since they came on board. I feel Cynthia should be demoted as well.
