If Taraji doesn’t win for best actress , I’m writing a petition to strip the winner off of the award.

    • OMG Logic!!! July 16, 2015

It’s going to (rightfully) go to either Robin Wright or Claire Danes. Watch some more dramatic television before making such idiotic claims child.

    • Anne July 16, 2015

SAM U forgot Beyonce and Jay-Z ON THE RUN.

  2. Y’all Poor AF July 16, 2015

Damn, nothing for the men of Empire, especially Terrence Howard. But the Emmys are starting to get predictable tbh, there’s a few surprises, but overall, it’s the same shows every year

    • OMG Logic!!! July 16, 2015

Very little competition currently. It shouldn’t be about surprises; it should be about who deserves it.

  3. Rosie July 16, 2015

Can they PLEASE stop nominating Modern Family. It stopped being funny a long time ago and everyone already knows it’s going to win for the 38th time in a row. I know sitcoms are in a dire state right now but there’s still many other shows that deserved it instead like Broad City and even New Girl (which critics said returned to its former glory last season).
Anyways congrats to Taraji, Viola, and FINALLY Tatiana Maslany.

    • OMG Logic!!! July 16, 2015

There’s nothing else to nominate that isn’t somehow worse than Modern Family.

  4. OMG Logic!!! July 16, 2015

Game of Thrones is hogging a Best Drama spot that it does not deserve. This season was a massive letdown and randomly abandoned characters and their story lines mid season, damned be continuity!. Daredevil should be in its place as the first well done super hero drama. Vincent D’Onofrio was also snubbed.

    • Rosie July 16, 2015

Game Of Thrones was a mess this season. Glad to see everyone other than its virgin neckbeard stans on Reddit dragging it.

  5. Xtina = The voice of this generation July 16, 2015

Queen Cookie or I’m committing S******.

    • Power Voice July 16, 2015

Those ladies slay their personna’s bad.. Viola is a titan and cookie hummm

  6. Xtina = The voice of this generation July 16, 2015

I hope Game Of Thrones doesn’t kill the Mother Of Dragons, The Great Khaleesi in the next season or I will stop watching it.

  7. AnnaliseKeatingsNewWig July 16, 2015

I want Viola to win, so proud of that lady! I’ll still be happy if Robin or Taraji wins. Love Kerry Washington too but not surprised she wasn’t on this year, because the last season of scandal was absolutely awful.

  8. Slayty Perry (Emmy nominated VEVO Queen)) July 16, 2015

TGJ you forgot to mention how Katy Perry’s iconic halftime show is nominated for an Emmy. Or how Roar passed 1 billion views a few days ago, making Katy the first artist to have 2 videos pass 1 billion views. Katy just won’t let these other girls breath. She just wont take her foot off their necks. Even when she’s ending a relatively quiet era she’s still snatching weaves left right and center. Imagine the meltdowns if Katy wins that Emmy. The tired and stale Grammyless drag will become obsolete. What will they use then?

    • Power Voice July 16, 2015

      Slay katy perry no grammy

uzo aduba is also a black actress who was nominated for her splendid work in orange is the new black but I know u wouldn’t acknowledge her cause she’s not a s** pot.

uzo aduba is 10 times more talented than over rated taraji, who plays a stereotypical black woman on empire.

by the way uzo aduba won the emmy last year for best guest actress in a comedy series for her strong performance in season 2 of orange is the new black.

so while your faves are still emmyless my girl uzo has one emmy trophy under her belt. #bye

No award for papa Pope? And how is KERRY WASHINGTON not nominated , 2 black actress is as mich as they can do ? KW deserved that nomination way more than Taraji that I love . And how is Robin Wright always nominated , don’t get me confused HOC is great but her interpretation is always the same , calm sitffed with some b**** ways it’s really beige . Whereas Claire Danes & Kerry are really polyvalent in their acting … It’s always Claire , Julianne Margulies and Robin Wright that always get their nom for sure then they just toss whoever black actresses is hotter at the moment aka Taraji she’s everywhere and Viola also with S****** Squad . Very predictable

    • OMG Logic!!! July 16, 2015

Robin Wright’s portrayal of Claire was very different this season. She finally stopped playing the game, she stopped caring, and she competed and fought against Francis. She stopped being on board with the “perfect couple” charade they convinced themselves as being.

      • AnnaliseKeatingsNewWig July 16, 2015

@Omglogic Still hate your ass, but this comment is everything. Claire Underwood is a mf bad b**** ????.

@jake there’s no pleasing in some people. Kerry is a phenomenal actor but honestly her character didn’t grow at all this season which had nothing to do with her and was due to the writing. When scandal decided to glamourise human trafficking with the kidnapping subplot I knew they had jumped the shark.
