The Kings of Spoof are at it again.
After reeking hilarious havoc for the last two decades with parodic films ‘Scary Movie,’ ‘Haunted House,’ ‘Dance Flick,’ ‘Don’t Be a Menace,’ and many more, the Wayans – this time the clan’s youngest Marlon – are far from done putting their comedic twists on cinematic phenomenons.
Next up? ’50 Shades of Grey’ will get the spoof treatment!
Get the details below:
‘Open Road acquired U.S. rights to Fifty Shades Of Black, the Marlon Wayans comedy that IM Global is producing and funding.
Wayans will star in and write the spoof film with longtime collaborator Rick Alvarez. Ford produces with Wayans and Alvarez. IM Global’s Matt Jackson, Glendon Palmer and Steve Squillante are executive producing.’
Reports have it the film is set for a January 2016 release.
