D.L. Hughley is unimpressed by the praise Caitlyn Jenner is receiving from the athletic community.

Before becoming Caitlyn, Jenner lived as Bruce Jenner. As Bruce the Reality TV personality rose to fame as a globally recognised Olympian and the step-father to Kris Jenner‘s Kardashian clan in recent years.
Following her transition she was presented with the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the ESPYs sporting awards ceremony.
This has angered Hughley.
He told TMZ:
It’s named after Arthur Ashe. Arthur Ashe grew up in Richmond, Va., He’s a symbol of courage. He helped desegregate the south and he fought AIDS with dignity and honor. Caitlyn Jenner put on a dress. I don’t think it’s the same thing.
His criticism of the star didn’t end there.
For, he also took to Instagram to suggest that Jenner was no different than Robin Williams’ Mrs. Doubtfire.

Totally agree. Bruce Jenner is not a transgender female; he still has his penis and no desire to go through with the operation. By definition, he is a transvestite, aka a drag queen. He’s only exploiting the LGBT community, only this current generation of LGBT people are too stupid to see it.

He is saying what a lot of people feel.I am all for lgbt rights but nothing is courageous about a man who lied to his family for years about his desires. Nothing is courageous about finally realizing who you are and playing the public like a puppet to get more viewership on your various tv spots. He has yet proven himself to be a true activist to his community in which most are in danger every waking second people know their former identity. Maybe DL was crude in what he said but he speaks for a big portion who all feel the very same way that just because two seconds ago you announce you feel female that you deserve this amazing award of honor for courage. Also, why haven’t transgender athletes before him gotten the same award or at least the same consideration.
PS. My older brother was killed in the early 90’s after he started transition to become a woman.

Go to the comment section of any article about “Caitlyn” and “her” undeserved ESPY award and you’ll see at least 60% of them agree that “she” didn’t deserve — and I bet most of the people commenting aren’t black celebrities, or even black. Bruce/Caitlyn is an painful example of how the world is turning into an abstract ball of sheer and utter nonsense. Transgenders aren’t akin to an SNL sketch.
