‘Scandal’ is still a ratings winner for ABC, but that hasn’t stopped the network from building new bridges into the future with two of its stars.
It has been announced that Kerry Washington and Katie Lowes, who play Olivia Pope and Quinn Perkins respectively, will executive produce a new drama-comedy in partnership with Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland.
Details below…
Deadline says of the new nanny-dramedy:
It is described as an edgy and comical upstairs-downstairs look at the insanity of modern child-rearing and focuses on a clique of young nannies, a trio of interconnected families and their various support staffs, all trying to help the kids grow up when they haven’t quite grown up themselves.
Washington and Lowes are listed as executive producers alongside Rhimes, writer Bess Wohl, actor Adam Shapiro, and Betsy Beers.
