The series lost almost 4 million between it season 2 premiere and the episode that aired before this week’s delivery.
However, a dramatic twist and a storyline shift towards Andre Lyon’s quest for redemption has seen its weekly decline come to a screeching halt thanks to the 12.28 million viewers it swept up in the space of an hour long episode!

For, as a number of fans question why the infamous “Boo Boo Kitty” no longer stands as one of the show’s leading characters, the series’ performance this week saw it kick gold dust in the face of its rivals ‘Modern Family’, ‘Criminal Minds’ and ‘Law & Order: SVU’ which welcomed 6.33 supporters to its table when it aired at 9.30 p.m. on Wednesday night.

I never understood the empire hype tbh. The acting makes my stomach hurt and the storylines are dumb as hell. Power, Blackish, Being Mary Jane and Survivors Remorse do it for me. Empire is the ghetto glee.

Why is everyone so concern about he ratings of this show. It does better than anyone of these white castes shows and yet it loses .5 mill viewers each week and ppl go crazy. “Empire a flop. Empire takes a ratings tumble” but ALL SHOWS go up n down with viewers. But this black show had ppl screaming about its flaws, but not any other show
