After his single ‘Adorn’ found its way to an episode of HBO’s ‘True Blood’ Miguel has found a friend in the actor Ben Affleck who leads the movie ‘Live By Night.’
The movie is a Prohibition-era crime drama inspired by the Dennis Lehane novel ‘The Given Day‘ and welcomes Miguel to its cast after he auditioned for the role of Esteban, the crime-high brother of a character portrayed by the actress Zoe Saldana.
A premiere date for the big budget project is yet to be announced.
Elsewhere, Draya Michele has shared her thoughts on her role on the VH1 series ‘Basketball Wives LA.‘ The series follows the lives of a group of women linked to the world of basketball and each other by way of the city of angels’ small social scene.
After announcing a departure at the end of its third season Michele returned for a fourth spin in the show’s cycle but left mid-season following a feud with cast mate Brandi Maxielle.
Now, as VH1 gears up for a fifth season she has responded to claims that she may be returning.
Reality TV is really tricky. The first two season of Basketball Wives were the hardest, but that’s when I enjoyed it the most. The last two seasons were the easiest, but I was just mentally over it.I got to grow up in front of America. But now that I’m grown, I don’t need every single thing I do to be on TV and to be judged…I just don’t like it anymore. I just want to live a more private life. I don’t recommend doing it. I think it ruins families, relationships, work relationships. I think it tarnishes your name.
The entertainer is now on the prowl for a spinoff series that will focus on the fashion-fronted empire she has built for herself since rising to fame on ‘Wives.’
