Today marks what would have been the 23rd birthday of Bobbi Kristina Brown – Whitney Houston‘s only child.
Yet, with her passing at the age of 22 last July, today has instead seen the final results from her autopsy unsealed – at the request of several media outlets.

According to both Billboard and CBS, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Bobbi Kristina died from a combination of drowning and drug intoxication.
Furthermore, the medical examiner’s office said alcohol, marijuana and drugs used for sedation/to treat anxiety were involved. Despite this insight, it wasn’t possible to decipher whether her death was accidental or intentional – two theories which many have weighed in on.
Speaking on the reveal, Bobbi’s father – singer Bobby Brown – released a statement saying:
“First and foremost, 23 years ago today, Bobbi Kristina was born. Krissy will always live in my heart and soul. I love my baby girl. For news affiliates to seek and obtain my daughter’s autopsy report, before anyone has been brought to justice for her death is mind blowing to me. Please pray for my family.
Christopher Brown, the Brown family’s lawyer, added:
“While this action is unsettling, we will continue in our efforts in the civil lawsuit and the criminal investigation. Bobby Brown has had to be strong and mourn his loved ones in a fashion that is foreign to most people. So public, so raw, with apparently no end in sight. Hopefully public indictments and prosecution will lead to private healing and closure for Bobby Brown and his family.”
As widely reported, the litigation mentioned refers to the case the Brown’s are pursuing against Bobbi Kristina’s lover Nick Gordon – who is accused of abusing her both physically and emotionally.

Bobbi grew up under the scrutiny of the public eye from the first day she was born. Both of her parents were drug abusers and her dysfunctional environment clearly had a negative effect on her (to the point where she was sent to a psychiatric hospital as a teenager for trying to commit s******). Both MJ and Whitney death had saddened me for good two weeks and prior when I listen to their music. So much talent and love they had shared, it just crazy how the world treated them and then they died. Its obvious that bobbi commited s****** & decided that she would pay homage to her mom by doing so own the anniversary of her death in the same fashion.
