‘Mean Girls‘ the musical is on the way.
The movie’s creator Tina Fey revealed that she is crafting a stage adaptation of it twelve years after its cinematic release.
A launch date is yet to be set and its original cast members are unlikely to reprise the roles, but fans will be pleased to know original Broadway-style material is penned to support its storyline.
We haven’t finished it yet, but it’s close — yes, pretty close.
‘Girls’ was built with a budget of $17 million and swept up $129 million at the Box Office.
