Anticipation for Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ movie swells with every passing day.
Now, following the character’s arrival in ‘Captain America: Civil War‘, movie lovers have searched far and wide for more on his backstory.
Find out how this is to thank for the good news Marvel is celebrating this week below…
The Black Panther comic book has sold a quarter of a million physical copies, and that’s not the whole story. Comic-book publishers don’t generally report sales of digital copies, so the total is slightly off. In addition, reorders or reissues have not been counted yet. And when you compare Black Panther comic book sales to other comic books, Black Panther has sold nearly 500% more copies.
Ignited by ‘America’, interest in the heroic feline skyrocketed this year and saw his official comic book outperform each and every one of its competitors…even before digital units are thrown into its sales pot.
Chadwick Boseman will portray him in the forthcoming live action movie with help from Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o and has learned of the comic book’s glorious gains as the aforementioned ‘Capital’ continues to rock the Box office.
