Laverne Cox has scored a leading role in the new CBS series ‘Doubt.’

Cox joins former ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ actress Katherine Heigl in the series which tells the tale of a successful defence lawyer who finds herself falling i love with a man who may have committed a brutal crime.
Heigl has bagged the leading role and will play alongside Steven Pasquale and will be supported by Cox who will return to Netflix via ‘Orange is the New Black‘s latest season.
