In a move few saw coming, reports suggest Tamar Braxton has been given her marching orders over at ‘The Real.’

Details are incoming, but LBS reports that the FOX show let the outspoken singer/TV personality go because:
“She wasn’t reading too well with the audience and sales people didn’t find her to be ‘brand friendly.’ She was also too difficult on production.”
Official word has yet to come out from either camp, but “something” is definitely awry given Tamar’s cryptic message overnight…
If indeed true, it comes at an odd time – for the show has just been renewed for another season and is still airing its current run.

I really can’t believe she’ fired. I’m not a fan of Tamar but it THE REAL would be so different without her, just not the same.. Who do ya’ll think backstabbed her?

Here’s my theory. The producers probably sat Tamar and Jeannie down, and asked them if there was beef going on (cuz a whole lot of people have been claiming that there is ‘bullying’ going on). Tamar probably said no, and Jeannie probably said yes (knowing that she would get the sympathy vote)… And Loni love probably co-signed Jeannie. I can’t see the show going on much longer.

That depends on who they get to replace her. If the producers are really smart about it and find someone the fans love it’ll work. If they choose someone the fans hate, they’ll compare forever and complain about Tamar being gone. Find another host whose likable enough that they don’t even care that Tamar’s gone.

Tamar IS The Real, The only reason, that show was put together originally was because of her, love all the other women on there but they are going to have REAL trouble replacing her especially if fans know she was fired.. They better enjoy the eason without her because it will be there last, there some people you just can;t replace!

If this is true. The show will be over as soon as the new season starts taping. I could not stand when she went on medical leave for like a month or two the show was so lackluster. Tamar brings energy to that table whether you like it or not.
That’s fine Tamar can do better. But this show will be canceled shortly after because of her departure, which is fine, we need to get rid of allot of these talk shows.

I completely disagree. First off, this is Loni’s show. She created it so she’s not going anywhere. Tamar just doesn’t have chemistry with any of the girls. When she’s not there, the show seems to be better and the chemistry between the other girls shines even more. I love Tamar, been a fan since 1999, but I don’t think she brings anything to this show.

I’m not surprised. Those rumors about things being exciting when she went on sick leave must have been true. I bet when she came back from sick leave, things were not the same. So Im glad she’s gone. She abandoned music. I saw on her instagram that she said she finally sang, and it’s been 6 months and now she’s home. That’s a shame. So back to the music because I want another album!

I find most television, particularly talk shows with Black personalities to be minstrel shows. I watch them while I am preparing for my life and they often make me chuckle. Wendy Williams is the best at it because she laces buffoonery with genuine, sometimes cutting edge analysis on the absurdity of these television shows.
“The Real ” was a great urban response to “The View”. The combination of all of these women made it work. Tamar by far was the most talented and the most deceptive. If you got past the minstrelsy, you found a very intelligent women, with a huge talent and physically attractive. Her departure means the show has marked its death certificate.
All the others were light weights. The Big one reminded me of the obese girl in High School who had no life and lived vicariously through the other girls, always fabricating the # of men that she attracted. The Latina one, though traditionally attractive is a total lightweight, shallow, and could never carry a show on her own. The Asian one is such a clear opportunist with a wondering eye for any black thug is annoying but not as annoying as her Mother. And the twin has overstated her case as a Mother and a happily married women–BORING!
With Tamar in the mix with her “over the top” antics it balanced out the others and it became one big laugh festival. With her missing as during the time she was sick, the show was boring. The big one has overstated her case as a professional engineer, the Asian one jumps around like a drugged up dope fiend, The Latina one offers little, and the Married twin’s naivety has become hard to tolerate.
Tamar will be fine and probably will get her own show. Unfortunately, it is the classic example of”crabs in the barrel.” These idiots did not realize that they were a package deal and to break up the package and to diss the most talented would be the ultimate death blow for the show.
I didn’t see this coming but I have to admit that Tamar does not fit well on this panel. The other girls clearly have better chemistry with one another than with her and Tamar just comes across as awkward. The audience doesn’t really respond well to her jokes and she usually never has anything interesting to add to their conversations. To me, Tamera is the star of the show alongside Jeanie. Those two always have interesting opinions and seem to get positive reactions from the studio audience. Tamar just never seemed to be a good fit.
Tamar is the only reason I’ve watched The Real from day 1. If she is not on I do not watch point blank period. Come on now the show is called The Real and how are you going to fire the realest person on the show? Bye The Real. Dead and buried!!!!!!!!!

Assuming this story is true, let it be clear that I wouldn’t wish losing a job upon even an enemy, especially in today’s times. And although according to her reality show Tamar has several jobs, it appears she’ll be “taking several seats”. Although I’m sure it would be devastating to lose her spot on the Real. I do find it very interesting, however, that she would chose the picture of the great Toni Braxton hugging her in deep sympathy and support when she has made it clear that her sister ‘the Toni Braxton’ has done nothing for her career. Where are the pics if her dropping it like its hot now? Way to get positive attention to her demise at this time. While Tamar may have brought many audience members to the show, she didn’t seem to know how to transition her behavior from her childlike antics on the Braxton Family Values show to the Real talk show. I’m almost positive with the fame and exposure her sister Toni has, there was plenty of valuable advice she could have taken from her. You just don’t get away with poor behavior in an environment with four other attention seeking women as you do with four other sisters you grew up with. Why the dynamics of the ladies led to Tamar being in the hot seat is beyond any of us, but as spectators of the show, we can only call things as they have been displayed to us. Vince has said all too many times “Tamar is doing too much”, as when she was unable to complete DWTS. Tamar is “doing too much” is also said for other reasons as we are all well aware of. Perhaps like most travesties, the positive will reveal itself soon, meanwhile, let’s all watch as Toni Braxton continues to shine and clean up little Ta Ta’s mess once again.
