Robert Ri’Chard has found a friend in TV One.
That’s right, after watching him do his part to support the ‘Chocolate City‘ movie empire, the platform has called on him to star alongside Malik Yoba in the movie ‘Bad Dad Rehab.’
Details below…
The movie hits TV One on July 4th and follows the lives of fathers dealing with the ups and downs of family life and its impact on their journeys as sons, brothers, fathers and lovers.
Malik explains:
This film for me is art imitating life. Just like the character I play, Mr. Leon, I actually started a foundation to support fathers when my first daughter was born 18 years ago. We need to see images of men as involved fathers. I love that TV One chose to make this movie and has made it a priority to connect with actual real life fatherhood organizations across the country. I’m proud to be a part of this effort both on and off screen.
Keronda “Kiki” McKnight stands as the project’s writer, penning characters portrayed by the aforementioned Ri’Chard and Yoba as well as Nick Gonzalez, Wesley Jonathan and Rob Riley.
