Tamar Braxton‘s allegedly problematic behaviour on ‘The Real’ has done little to tarnish her friendship with Steve Harvey.
Accused of berating and belittling several employees during her time on the aforementioned series, Braxton’s departure from the series- much to the delight of her fans- dos not mark the end of her run on television.
Why?
Harvey has given her her very own talkshow.
Braxton, whose older sister is the Pop icon Toni Braxton, took to Harvey’s radio show to share her side of the story after she learned she had been booted from the series on which she starred alongside former 3LW performer Adrienne Baillon.
It was there, after her on-set behaviour on ‘The Real’ was slammed by numerous staff members, did she join Harvey to announce that they were to launch a talkshow together.
A premiere date for Braxton’s new show, expected to compete with Wendy Williams‘ daytime offering, is yet to be announced.
Her fans are undoubtedly hoping her relationship with Harvey and the series they are set to produce fare much better than her dealings with the ‘Real’ reliable sources who revealed the following:
During the final tapings of The Real in early May, the show’s executive producer had reached breaking point with Tamar, who cursed her out in earshot of other staffers on set after being upset she lost a game during the taping.
‘It was an ugly scene. Pinterest was sponsoring the segment and Tamar was genuinely upset she was losing the game.
‘She really acted out during the taping in front of the studio audience and then exploded behind the scenes once the show was done.
Producers had to heavily edit the segment to make it presentable to air on TV, but the sponsor was on set for the segment and witnessed it all,’ the source explains.
According to production people on the show, Tamar’s outbursts on set were frequent. She regularly blew up at the executive producer and oftentimes her husband Vincent Hubert or her co-hosts would work to calm her down.

Calling All Lovers is an awesome album but I cant stand Tamar’s personality. She’s a brat and is especially annoying on this season of Braxton Family Values. She often talked over and interrupted the other hosts on The Real. She’s loud and over the top. You don’t have to be the loudest most animated person in a room to make an impact.

It won’t last because she’s the problem. Anyone who watches her show knows that she was caught berating her own sisters on camera. Is it a coincidence the real said she did the same thing? What’s more, she clearly burned her bridges with the skorpion show, her hair stylist and even tgj. Something is wrong and she needs to go to therapy to fix it.

One of her fans told me that she blocked them on Twitter because she didn’t like an article they wrote. The gag is that they’re the only music site who covered her religiously and didn’t drag her magical iTunes sales. You know why I call it magical.
The Skorpion Show messed up their relationship with her because Tamar took them under her wings before Kevin (Skorpion) allowed K. Michelle to trash Tamar’s name all throughout his interview with K. He burned many bridges because of that messiness.

Down to her make up artist Terrell had to stop talking to her because of how she treated him and we all know how she cut Skorpion loose once she thought she didn’t need him anymore. Steve better invest in a sister who is actually professional instead of this entitled woman and her broke husband.
I hope she seeks spiritual guidance and figures out why she acts the way she does before its too late. At the end of the day it’s clear that she is unprofessional and isn’t used to working because everything has been handed to her. When she wasn’t living off Toni’s fame she was living off her husband’s money and that’s meant she’s never had to interact with people without feeling that she is better than them. Really, those of her friends who enable her are doing her no good because you know something is wrong with you if you find a way to fight with almost every single person you go into business with.!
She’s perfect for messy pop culture obsessed folks. If you like Wendy Williams messy antics, you will like hers because, aside from differences, it’s the same type of messy, shady, superficial stuff, except of course Tamar is more real and, naturally, has true talent and can bring more guests who respect her past being a gossip columnist.
You really think she’d be ok with interviewing people promoting albums which sell more than hers? Look at how she treats her sisters. If they won’t tolerate it why do you think they’ll be able to find an EP who will agree to.

There’s something there with Tamar that’s undeniable: talent. Her biggest flaw seems to be her character at times. Her talents have gotten her multiple record deals, tv shows and numerous other gigs. Ppl do believe in her. She’s definitely a household name amongst blacks and has been on her way to becoming a household name period. I have faith in her. I think she’ll be okay at the end of the day. Her music slays btw.

Unless there are tons of people who will put up with her antics she will not last on a solo talk show in daytime. Even Wendy Williams has toned down her antics and messiness from her radio days to appeal to a wider and likely white demo.
I don’t think they will like Tamar in the same light as Wendy at all.
This has got to be a cable talk show or satellite radio show like Jemny McCarthy got after her stint on The View. Perhaps on BET, Centric, TVOne, WeTV, Oxygen, Lifetime…. I mean who else would risk this?
