After two critically acclaimed seasons, Viola Davis‘ ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ is gearing up for a return to ABC.

Following the story of a legal professor and her students who become embroiled in a series of murders, the Shonda Rhimes production was renewed for a third season early this year.
Much to the delight of fans, Davis confirmed that filming is already underway. Taking to Twitter, she playfully teased the drama’s return with a picture of the cast on set…

The upcoming season comes after the series secured major wins critically. Davis earned the first African American win of an Emmy award for ‘Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series’. While fellow cast members Aja Naomi King and Alfred Enoch were also nominated by the NAACP for their contributions to the show.
