‘Bough’ tells the story of an affluent couple who enlist a young woman to carry their child after learning they wouldn’t be able to do so naturally.

High drama follows them when their surrogate develops a dangerous obsession with the husband (portrayed by Morris Chestnut) and begins to weave a web of lies, danger, scandal and deceit she hopes will destroy his marriage.

Built on a budget of $10 million, ‘Breaks’ swept up $15 million in its opening weekend and was the second-highest earning picture after Tom Hanks’ ‘Sully.’

Anytime you can open higher than your production budget, it’s a good weekend. It’s another in a streak of profitable films for us. The core female audience turned out, and we’re hoping that with not a lot of offerings out there, it will have a good multiple.
