The actor will sit down with ’60 Minutes’ on Sunday to share fresh thoughts on the accusation that was made during his time as a college student and the suicide of his alleged victim.
I was falsely accused. I went to court. I was vindicated. I feel terrible that this woman isn’t here. Her family had to deal with that, but as I sit here, an apology is — no. As a Christian man, just being in that situation, yeah, sure.I am 36 years old right now. My faith is very important to me. So looking back through that lens, it’s not the lens I had when I was 19 years old.
Parker continues to collaborate with the other man who was accused of assaulting his now deceased alleged victim.
Their latest project?
This is the problem… People go to court and are vindicated of all allegations by an all white jury and people say he is guilty. People need to let it go… He was found NOT guilty (I accept that doesn’t mean innocence).
We have to be smarter than simple taking things at face value. This guy has been acting for years but as soon as he self funds a movie his previous court comes to light. Doesn’t seem like an accident to me.
I am not falling for the tricks of the white man. No way hozay
He was acquitted of all charges by a Jury of his NON-peers (which is a very rare case for a black man). And I must/will respect that, period. This movie was incredible, powerful & extremely sad. I wouldn’t take anyone under the age of 18 to see it. But it’ll definitely have you thinking about what our ancestors had to go thru. It’s truly sad what happen in this country for over 250+ years. Terrifying tbh…
I do not understand why people are so dead set on him being guilty, other than the fact that they’re trying to sully his name to sink the film ‘Birth of A Nation’.
You know I’m tired of s**** movies altogether. Secondly this man is a homophobe.
Who is he
