‘Moonlight’: Demand For African-American LGBT Movie Forces Distributors To Extend Release

If Janelle Monae has Oscar glory in her sights her new movie ‘Moonlight’ may make her quest a smooth one.

For, before the unveiling of ‘Hidden Figures’ (which she also stars in) demand for ‘Moon’ in the United States has forced its distributors to expand its cinematic release this weekend.

Good news below…

The movie has already generated $5 million and, as positive reviews continue to pour in, has forced its distribution company A24 to extend its cinematic run by placing it several theatres across the U.S. to meet demand before it’s expected to become an Oscar contender!
