Taraji P. Henson continues to drive fresh and original content towards her fans this year.
Seemingly gearing up for the end of the Fox series ‘Empire‘, the last year has seen the actress step into several roles designed to showcase the skill her role as Cookie may not necessarily demand.
One of these roles can be found in the movie ‘Hidden Figures’ which will impact movie-goers on Christmas day.
Another?
The Simpsons.
Good news below…
Henson will appear in an hour-long episode of the Fox show in January alongside Common, Snoop Dogg and RZA.
In it, Henson will play a woman named Praline whose husband conned Mr. Burns into bankruptcy.
Enraged by her lover’s deception, she teams up with some familiar faces (Bart and Homer) to help the businessman exact his revenge on the shady character who is to be portrayed by Keegan Michael-Key.
The name of the star-stormed episode?
‘The Great Phatsby.’
Keep it locked on TGJ to learn more about the special.
#NowPlaying: ‘The Imitation of Life.’
