Movie trailer alert!
April 16th will bring with Showtime‘s ‘Guerrilla’, the Idris Elba-fronted flick which takes its viewers back to the 1970s and introduces them to characters at the forefront of the UK’s racial divide.
Elba produced the project via his Green Door Pictures outfit alongside John Ridley who released its very first trailer minutes ago.

It’s been a long time desire of mine to collaborate with Mr. Ridley and his work here is nothing short of a masterclass in character building and storytelling. TV is in for a treat.
Ridley had this to add when quizzed on its characters:
Those were people who were led by passion, who thought that the establishment was out of control, and if they did not stand up, the oppression would continue. These events are starting to no longer be current but a distant history, we don’t want those stories and perspective to fade into the past.
