Retro Rewind: ‘Forgive or Forget’

Published: Saturday 11th Mar 2017 by David

Welcome to Retro Rewind, the TGJ original feature designed to honour TV and Film’s glorious past.

Today, we return to June 8th 1998, the date on which the talkshow ‘Forgive or Forget’ was introduced to American audiences.

Hosted by the inspirational and motivational writer Mother Love, the show welcomed those who have wronged their loved ones to tell their stories and present their cases to those they’d slighted.

Then, the “victim” would be asked if they were willing to…”forgive or forget.”

Ready to take that journey to the past?

Robin Givens replaced Love in the year 2000 for its final season in a bid to boost ratings.

Unfortunately, this was to no avail as the series was cancelled shortly after.
