John Legend Is Heading To Reality TV

Published: Wednesday 5th Apr 2017 by Rashad

John Legend is quite the busy bee.  Just a week after announcing his 2017 ‘Darkness & Light’ tour had expanded its dates beyond North America to parts of Europe, reports have surfaced the singer/songwriter has inked a deal to take his talents to reality TV!

Details inside:

As if conquering music with chart-topping albums and Grammys galore wasn’t enough, fans know Legend began earning critical and commercial acclaim for a number of production outings, courtesy of his Get Lifted Film Company (titled after his debut album).

Giving WGN America its highest ratings to date with the Jurnee Smollett-Bell led series, ‘Underground,’ and also listing the Barack Obama biopic, ‘Southside With You,’ amongst its production credits, now Legend’s Get Lifted will lend its hand to unscripted programming (reality TV) –  a feat made possible after inking a multi-year production contract with Critical Content.

Though no announcements on when the first effort of the partnership will be delivered, fans can expect unscripted content across a number of mediums including television and digital media.  [source]
