So, we’re sure few are surprised that Nivea continues to come under fire for launching a number of suspiciously sinister ads which seem to present black skin and hair as “uncivilised” and “impure.”

Its tagline?
“White is purity.”
It wasn’t long before members of the digital community found themselves forced to confront the line’s creepy relation to White Supremacist ideology.
Unable to defend themselves, the creatives behind the ad have pulled the plug on it.
