Rihanna‘s crowd-pleasing performance in ‘Bates Motel’ has reportedly seen her become a frontrunner for a leading role in the forthcoming ‘Matrix’ reboot.
Exciting details below…
The actor Michael B. Jordan was the first entertainer tied to a role in the movie by sources close to production.
Yet to be confirmed, his alleged link to the project will, if true, will see him lead a companion story designed to extend the film’s universe.
Today, Rihanna fans have discovered that her successful foray into film hasn’t gone unnoticed by Warner Bros who are rebuilding the franchise with the writer Zak Penn sans the Wachoski Brothers who built the originals.
A source close to the studio spilled...
Rihanna is a global star who’s sold millions around the world. Movie producers know she has a lot of untapped potential as far as films are concerned and are eager to have her on board.
Her team are elated and are open to discussions as they see major potential in her being tied to a movie like the Matrix. It’d be a win-win for all.
Oh no baby what is you doing?
Matrix does NOT need a reboot just yet. How about in like ten more years?
The reboot is not a good idea.
WIthout Keanu reeves making some type of return is pointless and also what scenario would they come up with?
It’s best for her to do the Black Panther movie. Michael is already doing it.
I would’ve still love to see Aaliyah in the Matrix: Reloaded & Revolutions ☹️ RIP BabyG
you and me both!!!
Far more fitting than Beyonce doing the voice of Nala. What in God’s name..
Go Rih!
Ugh why are people acting like she is such a good box office draw
All her films flop
by Allan guessing you mean one, right? Of all the movies rihanna had been in only battleship failed at the box office.
this is the end 126/35 million
Annie 133/65 million
Home 390/135 million
battleship 300/200million
and only Home is actually credited as her movie.
NOOOOOOO! Just leave the movie alone!
So because her name is Rihanna they think thats gonna make it successful? Her fans couldnt make Battleship a hit. Go to actual ACTORS with experience not someone who just gets offered roles because of who she is.
of the two movies she was in only one was a flop and they both pulled in over 300 million. let’s say they keep the budget under 100 millions, the film will for sure pull in something close to or over 300million if it flops just from brand recognition alone, if it’s good it might do more…! either way there is no flopping if the budget is reasonable, only question is whether it will do well enough for a sequel. 300 million keeps them in the black, 600 million is a sequel.
Nice match, She’d excel in a role within the Matrix Universe! I see it
