Paramount Readies Racially Diverse ‘First Wives Club’ Reboot

‘Girls Trip’ writer Tracy Oliver has revealed that she has received the green light to reboot the iconic movie ‘First Wives Club’ with a racially diverse cast.

Good news below…

Keen to reflect the world as it is, Oliver is rebuilding the movie as a Paramount-backed TV series after TV Land and the writer it picked to pen the project passed on it.

How Oliver got the job? Her record-breaking success with ‘Girls Trip‘ which made her first black woman to write a movie that $100 million-plus domestically-grossing movie.

A premiere date is yet to be set but fans can expect it to pull from the 1992 novel of the same name.
