Omarosa “Resigns” From The White House / Departs Donald Trump Administration

Published: Wednesday 13th Dec 2017 by Sam

Omarosa is on her way out of The White House.

More on the departure of the avid Donald Trump advocate after the jump…

The reality star – who rose fame on ‘The Apprentice’ – had been one of the President’s most outspoken Afro-American supporters. So much so that she was rewarded with the title of “Director of Afro American Outreach” during the controversial presidential campaign.

In the time since his shocking victory, she was subsequently shifted her focus towards public engagement work within the administration.

However, today White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirms that Omarosa has resigned and will officially leave on January 20th 2018. Exactly one year since Trump’s inauguration.

No word yet on why O (whose full name is Omarosa Manigault-Newman) is bouncing, but she certainly isn’t the only one.

Last week it was confirmed that deputy national security adviser Dina Powell will leave at the start of the year. And other departures are expected.

One really has to wonder what Omarosa’s next move will be.

Already a polarizing figure, she lost a lot of her already scant support by backing Trump.

Needless to say, it’ll be intriguing to see whether her reasons are more about principles, onto bigger and better things, or budget cuts (which, if this, means she’s probably being given the luxury of saying she’s leaving when in actuality she got the chop).
