Go ‘head Mary! Last week she got her star on the Walk of Fame, this week she became an Oscar nominated actress! She needs to release ‘Glow Up’ as a single right now!
I am so happy for them I could cry! I’ve been following the movie industry for all of 2017 & know how much work they put in to theses films & I couldn’t be happier but I’m most proud of Jordan Peele for getting a Best Director Nomination for turning a horror movie in to a pop phenomenon!
Timothée Chalamet slayed the hell outta that role! That ending tho! Just wow…reminded me of The 400 Blowws (I put two w’s cause Grapejuice is a fool with thinking regular words are curses lol)…very natural performance! And my girl Mary Slay Blige…what a career this lady has had thus far…yaaaaaas…congrats to all the nominees!
That kid overshadowed every other actor in the movie, Call Me By Your Name is my favorite film of 2017, I was surprised to see such film, getting so much mainstream attention, usually movies like this go unnoticed by Hollywood, there are many independent LGBT films like this, even better but unfortunately they don’t get to shine, anyway, European movies are 1000 better than American movies, especially French movies.
I’m rooting for Timothee Chalamet and Call Me By Your Name, Lil Timmy Tim r**** everyone who watched the film, what a talented young man.
The director said there will be sequels! I swear he better win or else it’s some bullish!t lol ?
It is not going to win.
Why did they make Mary J Blige get a tan make her skin darker for the role… the world is obsessed with the color black
Timothée chalamet et call me by your name vont tout gagner!!! Cet acteur est juste génial et Le film est une merveille
Wow they ended putting Denzel there isntead of one of the awards season favorites James Franco. And Meryl too. They are two of tehir faves and always show. They didn´t include Tom Hanks either, who had some momentum a while ago.
Not many more surprises. The race is between 3 Billboards and Shape of Water now ( only a month ago it was Call me by our name vs Lady Bird)
They need to pfucking give War for the Planet of the Apes best visuals for crying out loud!!! (their only nod). That last film and whole trilogy deserved more recognition in these awards seasons. Not just visuals but a little bit more too. One of the best trilogies of the last 20 years.
Congratulations to Mary, she really deserves this and she deserves to win
Daniel kaluuya is great though
May-Ray!!!!! I hope she wins.
