John Woo and Universal Pictures are keen to convince the actress to join a remake of the movie after watching her brilliant performances in ‘Black Panther’ and the ‘Queen of Katwe.’
Woo is to return as director and support Lupita as she takes on a role carried by Chow Yun Fat in the original.
Exciting news, as the reboot is being re-written to serve as a “star vehicle” for the Oscar winning actress.
A due date for the stylised action thriller is yet to be set.
