In 2017, the respected attorney Phaedra Parks was asked not to reprise her role in the hit series ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ after it emerged that she was behind claims that her co-star Kandi Burruss had joked about assaulting their mutual friend Porsha Williams.
Hidden from viewers was a deeper layer of the story which saw Carlos King, one of its producers, named as the man who allegedly used Parks and Porsha to weave the lie into the show’s storyline in a bid to hurt Burruss who he was said to be feuding with.
Now it appears that this fact has lifted some of the weight Parks was forced to carry alone and seen her return to the series.

Parks is yet to confirm or deny this story.
I was told by my sources that Phaedra may tape on a few episodes with Porshia but she is not being brought back full time because the casts sans Porshia refuses to film with her still. The show has expired. The producers know this and have been testing out other socialites that are younger. One of the ladies that was recently tested is a young lady I manage so I know this as a fact.

I don’t believe this. They could have done this last season if all they were going to do was allow her to film with Porsha. Phaedra will be *eased* back in, b/c her return is likely to roil feathers, which is intended. I hope she’s NOT totally remorseful . . . She was on the cusp of becoming the greatest reality show villain of all time.
And what is this nonsense about the other ladies refusing to film with Phaedra? Does YOUR boss allow you to say who you will work with? Nobody is bigger than the show, and they’ll do what they’re told for those big Housewives checks, which they earn for working part-time.
Casual it is very true that the cast will team up and refuse to film with someone so they cannot be a full-time cast member. That is why Danielle was squeezed out of RHONJ. On a reality show, even though it is a job, the filming takes place a lot of times in the cast’s homes. The casts can dictate who is allowed to enter their homes. For example, Kim is not longer allowed to enter Kandi or Nene’s house so filming with her is limited to a public setting and now the cast refuses to film with her either. Sheree was not squeezed out by the cast but she was fired and not being asked by her castmates to events so she wont even get a part-time check. When Porsha and Nene were on the outs Porsha was not allowed to film with Nene at her party. Reality tv is all about how many scenes can you get filmed in and it is a very hard job because producers ofter want you to play dirty all while remaining cool with the people you are playing dirty too.

It was already confirmed by ATLien that she has not been asked to comeback!! She was just at the same party as porsha. Please get your facts straight! She is not coming back and not needed.
If this is true, I am disappointed. I want her back. She was THE storyline last season, and her absence was glaring.

Phaedra is coming back, but nothing’s been decided yet as to full-time/part-time. Have to wait and see what she brings once production gets off the ground. Both Porsha and Cynthia are on good terms with Phaedra and have both stated they’re eager to catch-up and film with her. Not sure about how Nene feels, and as far as Kandi, well, who cares. Kandi does not have as much power as she’d like to think, as evidenced by the cancellation of her new show “Hot in Atlanta” before it even began!
Phaedra’s return would be the only reason I would start back watching those rotten peaches!!!
