It would appear that ‘Braxton Family Values’ is serving up drama on and off screen – and the latter is casting doubt over the show’s future.
Details below…
According to TMZ, sisters Toni, Tamar, Trina, Traci, and Towanda (along with their mom Evelyn) were supposed to film the hit WE tv series in ATL this week but production pulled the plug on everything when only Traci showed up.
Word on the curb is that the singing siblings are standing their ground and demanding that the network and production renegotiate their contracts.
Their grievance is said to stem around money.
Per the report, the ladies feel their salaries ought to be adjusted to an “appropriate” level, while urgent amends to “laughable” travel and wardrobe spend are also being sought.
The standstill directly impacts filming for the second half of the show’s sixth season.
Interestingly, though WE tv haven’t formally responded, murmurs are that the cast are contracted to the show through to its ninth season. So, it’ll be intriguing to see which way this goes.
