Damon Dash‘s attempts to retrieve the money Lee Daniels were no to avail and now, to teach the ‘Empire’ builder a lesson, has decided to spread his business as one does butter on warm toast.

Dash claims that Lee begged him to lend him $2 million and claimed he needed it because his friend Oprah Winfrey was unwilling to support him.
This, as Dash explains in the video below, convinced him to help him out with hopes doing so would enrich the culture he believed they both wanted to serve.
Lee is yet to respond to claims that he is a thief but did admit that he owed Damon the money in the video below.
Lee is worth a reported $20 million.
