Netflix amps up its quest to treat subscribers to music-related content by readying a Quincy Jones-centred project!
‘Quincy‘ impacts the platform on September 21st and was acquired by Netflix this year who, keen to give it a grand push, will release it in theatres for a limited time.
Set to feature prominently? His late collaborator Michael Jackson whose friendship with Jones will be assessed by producers Paula DuPré Pesmen, Jane Rosenthal and Berry Welsh.
There is really no one like Quincy, the sheer breadth of his work alone is unparalleled, but the story of him as a man has never been comprehensively told. It was a privilege to have his trust, allowing us to capture intimate moments giving insight into the fabric of the man.
