The renewals for ‘Insecure’ (and fellow HBO ‘Ballers’) comes midway through both shows’ current seasons.
For ‘Insecure,’ it serves as quite the coup. Because the announcement comes on the heels of Rae’s Emmy nomination for best lead actress in a comedy series. The show — which also stars Yvonne Orji and Y’lan Noel — follows the love, friendships, and frolics of two black women in Los Angeles.

‘Insecure’ is easily one of our favourite shows on air at present. So, we’re all sorts of amped about its return. Our sole wish is for a longer season!
