From Barry Jenkins, the brains behind the movie ‘Moonlight‘, and the brilliant author that was James Baldwin comes ‘If Beale Street Could Talk.’
Set for release on November 30th the movie tells the tale of a couple who must beat the odds to hold on to true love when one of them finds themselves in dark and dangerous waters.
Regina King stands tall as one of its stars.

Baldwin’s book was released in 1974 and was adapted by Jenkins who called on KiKi Layne, Stephan James and Plan B productions to help him tell its fascinating story.
