Of all Disney‘s dazzling remakes, few have commanded the buzz of ‘The Lion King.’
Set to roar into cinemas on July 19th 2019, the live-action remake of the colossal classic boasts an all-star cast anchored by Donald Glover (Simba) and Beyonce (Nala).
And as if anticipation wasn’t sky-high, it cranked up a notch moments ago when the first teaser trailer for ‘The Lion King’ was unleashed.

Originally released in 1994, ‘The Lion King’ is one of the highest-grossing animated films of all time – racking up $968.5 million worldwide.
Directed by Jon Favreau and co-starring the likes of James Earl Jones, Alfre Woodard, and Seth Rogen, the latest incarnation of the movie comes after Disney’s blockbuster success with a series of live-action re-imaginations. Indeed, titles like ‘Alice in Wonderland’ (2010), ‘Maleficent’ (2014), ‘Cinderella’ (2015), and, most recently, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ all bulldozed box-office records.
And now ‘The Lion King’ looks set to follow-suit.
