That ain’t true at all. They don’t give oscars out based on the role. It is based on the acting and believe-ability of the character. Hence, if Bey had J. Hud’s role she would not have done well because she refused to film looking homely and she would not be able to pull off the role of a strong singing scorn woman. Similarly, if she had done Gaga’s movie that would have been with the original script and not this version which was more of a glossy superstar role instead of the script Gaga was given.
