‘Bird Box’ is still making monumental moves on Netflix.

Netflix is elated to report the Fantasy thriller has been watched by over 80 million of its subscribers since it was uploaded to the platform on the 13th of December.
The company shared the good news in a letter written to its shareholders just weeks after their claim that it had been viewed 45 million times was verified by Nielsen’s independent audience measurement monitor.
Netflix also shared some insights on how it arrived at these metrics: It only counts viewers if they at least finish 70% of an episode of a TV show or a movie, respectively. And the company added another new data point, claiming that it is now responsible for about 10% of all TV hours in the U.S. — a number that it apparently arrived at with some back-of-the-envelope math.

its not at all a GOOD MOVIE. but just like everything else in modern day pop culture, people tuned in “just to feel a part of something”. because folks heard their friends and co-workers talking about it & then saw memes and other crap on social media pertaining to it, they all simply jumped on the bandwagon. it has NOTHING to do with the real quality or entertainment factor of the project. overall, despite Trevante Rhodes’ performance, the movie itself is sub par and lackluster. this is a FACT.
It’s 2019 and you still don’t know the difference between an opinion (subjective to PERSONAL PREFERENCE) and a fact?? ??♂️ 80+ million views… whew chile… just say “In my opinion, the movie was awful” and go.

They all saw it cause Sandra Bullock was in it. Love her, but the movie was meh to me. Wouldn’t watch it again.
