The ‘Empire’ actor was attacked by a fresh fake news story yesterday when his detractors used the net to spread a story which claimed producers on the show were gearing up to write him out of it.
Hours later, The Metro revealed that the performer’s role had been minimised…but only because he needed time to recover from the vicious assault some would argue didn’t happen.
Today, FOX has confirmed this report.
Its reps explain…
Jussie Smollett continues to be a consummate professional on set and as we have previously stated he is not being written out of the show.
Jussie denies claims that he fabricated the story and has been forced to put out fires started by sources who have been selling stories to the press which say he did.
The most amazing thing to me about this case is how easily everyone writes Jussie off as a liar, when the Chicago PD has a LONG history of lying, falsifying evidence, and retaliation against potential witnesses. Guess its just easier to label Jussie the liar since he’s gay.
No. It’s not the Chicago PD that’s trustworthy. They are not. Jussie’s story unraveled in the days after he first made his claim without help from the Chicago PD. And the GMA interview he did was so rehearsed and clearly demonstrated why he committed this hoax. He wanted to be seen as the gay 2Pac and a hero to the LGBT community.
Jussie is being set up. You have to be an idiot not to see it.

They are just 3 weeks from the season premiere and they have huge investments to protect. If they give any indication right now that they are not on Jussie’s side, they run the risk of sponsors dropping out so as not to waste money on a show that most definitely will lose viewership if its own network agrees that one of their own committed serious fraud against our country and the communities that the show tries to promote. No sponsor will want to be a part of that; enough of them back out and FOX won’t be able to afford to keep the show on the air.

can you all PLEASE stop trying to cover for him?! his role in the series HAS been minimized and the writers/producers of EMPIRE have been forced to do so by the FOX network. they cant just write him off yet because he his storyline is vital to the season finale. HOWEVER, once the eason wraps, Jussie wont even be free to film additional episodes. WHAT WAS REPORTED YESTERDAY IS 100% TRUE. I can not state how I know this, but please just be aware.
I’m not convinced either way. I didn’t jump on this story when he got attacked and I’m not jumping on it now that they’re saying it was a hoax. So I haven’t decided to believe Jussie, but Chicago PD has been lying it’s ass off for the better half of a century bruh. Everybody is too quick to jump on stories like this, whether it’s to give support or condemn. Chill out and gather the facts.
