Lizzo Lands Role In Jennifer Lopez & Cardi B’s Upcoming Stripper Film ‘Hustlers’

Published: Sunday 28th Apr 2019 by Rashad

Body positivity has been the name of the game for breakout singer Lizzo since she first arrived on the scene.

Now, just shortly after celebrating the arrival of her critically acclaimed major label debut, ‘Cuz I Love You,’ the 30-year-old diva announced she’s set to show off her curves aboard the forthcoming Jennifer Lopez stripper film, ‘Hustlers.’

Details inside:

As we reported here, the flick – which sees its plot inspired by a 2016 New York Magazine article that detailed the lives of a crew of savvy former strip club employees who unite to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients – fills out its cast with rapper Cardi B and a slew of in demand actresses including the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Julia Styles,  Lili Reinhart and Keke Palmer.

Slated for a September 13 premiere, Lizzo’s addition to the cast comes as one of many money moves the songstress is making on the silver screen.  She is also voicing the character “Lydia” in the upcoming animated ‘Ugly Dolls’ movie (which is also being done by STX films).

‘Dolls’ is due in theaters May 3.
