On the same day in 1989, 43 children are born to women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Oddly, the women have no connection to one another.
Seven of said kids are adopted by a billionaire who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares “his” youngsters to save the world.
Years past and the collective drift apart. However, news of their father’s death reunites the six surviving members of the clan. They’re tasked with working together – despite tense internal dynamics – to solve the mystery surrounding his death. And save the world from an apocalypse.
MJB plays assassin Cha Cha and is joined on the cast list by the likes of Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin Min.
