TLC Declines ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Offer

Published: Friday 17th May 2019 by David

TLC has revealed that it declined the opportunity to join the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘ family.

Full story below…

Kandi Burruss, one of the show’s stars, penned hits for the group in the late 90s and early 2000s and invited the group’s T-Boz to appear in one of its earlier episodes.

Unfortunately, the performer has revealed that that may be the last time they see her or Chilli on the Reality TV series.

They told ‘Page Six‘ that producers tried (and failed) to rope them into the cast…now led by Porsha Williams, NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey and the aforementioned Burruss.

T explained why…

This is the thing, I don’t play like that. Like, I’m not arguing, I’m too old to be arguing and first of all, I don’t argue with nobody I don’t care about. If I care about you, I will take the time to do this. But I’m not arguing with no grown women. I’ll end up going to jail for real. Like, I don’t do that.

Chilli added…

And I wouldn’t be able to bail her out because I would be right there with her.

Would have done it?

    Everything ain’t for everybody!
I would like to see T-Boz and Chilli in some shape or fashion on TV or a reality show.
Not Real Housewives franchise but like TLC build a business or TLC go it solo or something in their lane that promotes what they are doing family/music/business/mogul wise.

Nothing is stopping them from doing that. I thought Chili was already under contract for a reality show with Lil Kim and Mya on VH1?

As for T-Boz, I think she should grow up. She has filed bankruptcy twice so clearly she could use the money. Producers do not force you to physically fight with any women and if you are not able to articulate yourself in a manufactured argument (aka reality show acting) then you are immature.

T-Boz has been on reality television before. Also, what does her bankruptcy has to do with anything! Several famous and wealthy people has filed for bankruptcy more than once! I’m pretty sure she has more money than us commenting on this blog. Be kind!

She don’t have more money than me though and I people who file personal bankruptcy are not ‘wealthy’. I am being kind. I am thinking about her kids. She should want to make enough income to afford them college tuition and nice things. She’s not really booked these days.

Nope I have more. Why does my opinion both u so much I have to copy my name. We don’t have to think alike or agree. Grow up!

Smart women. That is not a show anyone should want to be a part of, and it is not a good fit for the TLC brand anyway.

    Agreed W/ T-Boz!

When you’re a legend you don’t need to join drama for relevance. But I’d like to seen them on TV in some form. Keep their legacy going in a positive light. Not for cheap ratings like Housewives or LHH

    I love T- Boz.
This would be a disrespect to their career.
