JANELLE IS JUST EXTRAORDINARY!!!!
Love Cynthia Erivo and here for the movie decisions Ms. Monae is making. Adding this one to my fall “must see” list! It’s also ABOUT TIME Harriet Tubman got her big screen opportunity as a story…now if we can speed up getting her on the US $20 currency…
I cannot wait!!! This looks good & I am so happy to see this story being told. Super excited!!! I FREAKIN LOVE BLACK PEOPLE!!
I’m seeing this first day out. I hope black folks go as hard for this the same way they went hard for black panther
Looks good!
Why doesn’t Hollywood make movies that show the glory that was black people before slavery??? You have no idea how much my view on being black changed once I knew our true history that doesn’t involve shackles and slavery.
Harriet has always been my favorite. PeriodT. I hope they show how she did everything even with a traumatic head injury: “Born a s**** in Dorchester County, Maryland, Tubman was beaten and whipped by her various masters as a child. Early in life, she suffered a traumatic head wound when an irate s**** owner threw a heavy metal weight intending to hit another s**** but hit her instead. The injury caused dizziness, pain, and spells of hypersomnia, which occurred throughout her life.”
