What has Ciara achieved to deserve such an honour.
She’s been flopping left right and center
She paid for this honour. BYE

Payola clearly she’s one of the worst sellers ever yet stays booked hmmmmmmm

    • Grape August 19, 2019

But there is no denying that Ciara is BOOKED, GORGEOUS, and her bag is SECURED.

You have to work and use the computer and internet, and if you can do that and dedicate some time each day then you can do this with no problem.
I have been working with this for a month and have made over $2,000 already. let me know if you need more help.

Get it CiCi. I just bought concert tickets to see her 9/17. It’s my first time seeing her live so I’m looking forward to it

They honoring anybody these days. Shows there is a lack of quality artists out in this generation.

    • LUCKI August 19, 2019

BGR doesn’t only honor artists. I doubt Ciara’s artistry is being honored anyway. She’s accomplished a lot over the past year or so on the business side.

      • Clarkson August 19, 2019

        What has she accomplished?
Attending 4 days of college? LOOL.
        marrying an NFL player?
        Selling 3k albums first week?
Being a judge on a talent show?
        being friends with the Kardashians?

That’s nice that Ciara will finally get an award.

I just wish she’d go back to making songs like “Goodie”, “Ride”, “Promise”, “Body Party” etc.

Set was literally the worst song of her career…like even worse than anything she had on Jackie (and that s*** was bad).

But there is no denying that Ciara is BOOKED, GORGEOUS, and her bag is SECURED.

Facts ALL DAY! smh. I’ve lost hope though.

    • Jasmine August 19, 2019

      AMEN

  4. Truth Speaker August 19, 2019

Ciara has been anti black this entire era. She has changed her speaking voice, nose, and sleeps in wigs to avoid all things black. Her and her husband are no worst then Jay Z. Will she bring her all white employees and her hispanic dance crew? She never speaks on black issues but quick to speak on European issues.

    • Dc August 19, 2019

      She’s a white sellout now

  5. Drip August 19, 2019

I see. Lot of Ciara hate! Lol Ciara isn’t anti black. I remember black people turning their backs on her and dissing her when Future left her as a single mother. Most big black media platforms dragged her for letting Russell step up to the plate. Black people dog her musically for trying to have the same creative freedom that you all praise Rihanna, Beyonce for having. So I’d leave y’all hating ass in the dust too and make money moves.

The show is always a good one and happy to see CiCi, Angela, Regina, and H.E.R. being recognized. I’m tuned in…

  7. Divab August 19, 2019

I have nothing to say about who they feel to be honor, but my opinion is why haven’t Beyoncé been honor yet? She has so many times did for many causes but her pastiest is when she pledge $100 thousand to I believed 10 students from HBUC’S. That is just something amazing of giving her money to help those students.

    • The Truth August 19, 2019

No shade, but how many times has Beyoncé paid the BET awards complete dust. Remember when she performed with Kendrick Lamar and left immediately after and her MOTHER accepted her award? She would never do that at the VMA’s. And when was the last time she attended any BET awards show?

I love me some Beyoncé (trust me, I am Sasha Fierce all day everyday honey), but I do look at her sideways for how she doesn’t acknowledge BET. So, why should they acknowledge her? But they do nominate her EVERY year, even if she hasn’t released anything new lol.

And like I said, I am a Beyoncé fan, so lets not come at me. I am eagerly awaiting her new music. Just stating my opinion.

  8. The Truth August 19, 2019

SPEAKING OF BET: am I the only one that noticed BET gave Normani ZERO nominations, but the VMA’s gave her one for Waves? Like BET, what the actual f***?! It’s similar to Jason Derulo when he called them out for never nominating him (and I am no JD fan, but he should’ve been nominated a few times in his earlier days).

    • #TeamTinashe Stan August 19, 2019

Give her nominations for what? “Waves”?
It didnt do well to get nominated

  9. #TeamTinashe Stan August 19, 2019

    Congrats to Ciara!
Alot of people forget how much of a force she was in her debut to 2007.

I would like to see Mýa get recognized too.

  10. YAS BIH August 19, 2019

Well deserved and overdue she has worked her a$$ off and shined through the hate that she never ever deserved and stayed humbled and graceful she always managed to get a gold or platinum single on every album through her fifteen years in this conniving industry she would have been a lot bigger if it was not for her old labels and teams sabotaging her so this is amazing and she’s owed sooo much more middle finger to anyone who says otherwise but she has been through too much that none of you hateful ppl would ever understand I loved this women since day one of watching goodies and every album song or feature she’s ever been on kudos Ciara keep it up and never stop until your ready.

  11. Rita Ora August 19, 2019

Ciara keeps you gworlz pressed because she aint selling p**** to the highest bidder like Beyonce!!!!

  12. #TheTruth August 19, 2019

People got hard on her when supposedly she was a sell out to go for Pop.
Who doesn’t ? How many rappers have jumped on a EDM track ? No one is beating them up for that.

I think she came out at the right time and had her own lane but eventually she blended more in the landscape and lost her momentum. But it’s not like she could forever do that « crunk n b » thing with Lil Jon.

No matter what her sales are, she stays booked, performing, releasing music, so props to her for that. She’s a fighter. She’s been more consistent – sure on her level – than people who were huge and you barely hear from anymore (Christina, Fergie etc.)

    • #TheTruth August 19, 2019

And yes she seems like a sweet person. When Rihanna was being a brat and nasty to her, Ciara never played dirty like her.
