Caleb McLaughlin and Idris Elba are to lead a brand new movie named ‘Concrete Cowboys’!

The movie also stars Byron Bowers and Jharrel Jerome of ‘When They See Us’ and is based on the real-life Fletcher Street Stables, a black horsemanship community which has existed in Philadelphia for over a century.
Greg Neri’s novel ‘Ghetto Cowboy’ will be used to guide the movie’s plot line.

Concrete Cowboys follows 15-year-old Cole (McLaughlin) who is taken to live with his estranged father Harp (Elba) in North Philadelphia, where he discovers the city’s vibrant urban cowboy subculture, which flourishes despite the surrounding poverty, violence, and encroachment of gentrification

Thats right Philadelphia has history out the ass! I used to see the old guy all the time. It was weird being from such a big hustle and bustle city and have black boys and men literally be all over riding horses…we also ride dirt bikes and 4 wheelers all n the street. Lol. 3 movies shot at the same time all around. Love my City!
