Nicole Murphy hit headlines the world over earlier this year when she was snapped kissing director Antoine Fuqua — who is still married to actress Lela Rochon.
A haphazard press statement followed, but now Eddie Murphy‘s ex-wife is speaking up and out in her own words.
Today, she stopped by The Wendy Williams Show and told her side of the story.

While explaining that “social media” morphed the story into something worse, she did fess up to it being a “mistake.” She said:
“It was a moment that should not have happened. I regret. I apologize for it. And I’m a human being. It was a mistake. Basically, women, it could happen to you. Do your research.”

This made for an uncomfortable watch, primarily because she struggled to balance taking accountability with projecting the blame for the salaciousness of the story onto the folk on social media. Folk who wouldn’t know about the mess had it not… happened.
No judgement, but that was awkward.

She too old not to know the wife got the papers. Only a desperate, thirsty, or broke ho would want to creep with a married man who got papers on him. Lela got them papers on him! If he leave or divorce she gets half is money and property. Where do u think the phrase ‘its cheaper to keep her came from”? From men who learned the hard way that smart wives get them papers. I got papers on my man. If he ever left me or he became impossible to deal with i would get half his money, spousal support, and child support. Lela did it right.
THOT! LisaRaye already put her on blast and said Nicole does this all the time and hinted at her being the reason for LisaRaye’s divorce (allegedly – but there’s TMZ footage where Lisa said this).
