Welcome to Retro Rewind, the TGJ original feature carved out to celebrate some of TV and Film’s brightest moments.
Today, we revisit Jodie Foster‘s dramatic thriller ‘Flightplan.’
In it, a woman travels to Berlin to recover the body of her husband after he committed suicide with help from their 6-year-old daughter.
Once on the plane, the tired and grieving widow falls asleep and wakes up to find that her child is missing.
Frightened, she asks the crew to help her find the little girl only to be confronted with an unsettling answer.
She doesn’t exist.
What happens next?
The release earned over $220 million at the box office and generated over $79 million via DVD rentals following its release on September 23rd 2005.
Guys I know it’s random but I LOVE the movie Flightplan with Jodie Foster. Like why wouldn’t you love a good thriller on a plane featuring one of the best actresses of our time?
