Today, we revisit Jodie Foster‘s dramatic thriller ‘Flightplan.’

In it, a woman travels to Berlin to recover the body of her husband after he committed suicide with help from their 6-year-old daughter.

Once on the plane, the tired and grieving widow falls asleep and wakes up to find that her child is missing.

Frightened, she asks the crew to help her find the little girl only to be confronted with an unsettling answer.

She doesn’t exist.

The release earned over $220 million at the box office and generated over $79 million via DVD rentals following its release on September 23rd 2005.

    I liked this movie even though the reviews were mostly unfavorable. Jodie is one of my favorite actors. I love Contact, Panic Room and The Brave One. I was in New York last summer and tracked down some of the filming locations for The Brave One.
