Syndicated series ‘RuPaul’ premiered over the summer and ran for a three week test run on FOX.
Co-produced by the host’s company World Of Wonder alongside Warner Bros, it blended celebrity interviews, fashion elements, and topical stories, all with sewn together with an inspirational foundation.
However, ratings and response have ultimately seen all involved decide to not move forward.
Credit where due, the show debuted amidst a slew of other new syndicated talkers – including ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ and ‘Tamron Hall’ – both of which have been renewed for sophomore seasons.
Still, RuPaul continues to have a packed slate – especially his ever-growing ‘Drag Race’ empire, which recently launched a UK series. The latter of which was just renewed for a second season.
You win some, you lose some.
