In breaking news, embattled media mogul Harvey Weinstein has been found guilty of rape and sexual assault.

The movie exec was convicted by a New York jury on two counts of the five charges levelled against him.
They specifically are criminal sexual assault in the first degree, based on the testimony of former ‘Project Runway’ production assistant Miriam Haley, as well as rape in the third degree, based on the testimony of one-time aspiring actress Jessica Mann.
Weinstein was found not guilty on two counts of predatory sexual assault charges – both of which carried a possible life sentence. He was also acquitted of 1st-degree rape.
Still, his convictions see him facing 25 years in prison and a lingering Los Angeles case with four similar charges.

This small victory for the victims, only happened because of pressure after other non-white offenders have been found guilty. Even though the magnitude of Harvey’s assaults were among the worst of them all, he still got a far less public and media outcry as Bill Cosby and RKelly.
