‘The Real’ has found its new co-host in Garcelle Beauvais.

The daytime talker announced the star as the official replacement for Tamera Mowry-Housely, who recently confirmed her departure from the show after six seasons.
Beauvais, who is currently a cast-member of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ will appear alongside returning hosts Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, and Jeannie Mai when ‘The Real’ season seven premieres on September 21.
Speaking in a statement, she said of her new gig:
“I am thrilled to be joining the dynamic, bold and diverse women on the award-winning talk show ‘The Real.’ My love for pop culture and news, blended with my natural gift of gab, has always made me gravitate towards a talk show environment. It’s also exciting that it’s happening right after my amazing time joining ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.'”
Rachel Miskowiec, executive producer of ‘The Real,’ added:
“We are so thrilled to have Garcelle joining our ‘virtual’ Girl Chat Table. Her extensive career in front of and behind the camera, and her willingness to share her life and her points of view on important topics with us make her the perfect addition. We can’t wait for Season 7 to begin.”

I think they should stay with 4 cohosts instead of 5. I definitely didn’t expect Garcelle to be added but I think she is an interesting choice.

They still need to fill Tamar / Amanda Seal’s seat which would be the 5 cohost…

Shes more mature and I didnt think they’d go this route. There were rumours of Raven and Keke Palmer so I was expecting someone in their 20s-30s.
Keke wouldve over powered the show (not in a bad way – but the others would get bitter overtime) and Raven has her show and has already done daytime so i didnt think she would do it.
Loni still thinks shes head huncho but now theres someone more mature who can put her in her olace from time to time. I feel like it stops adrienne and Jeanne from being their you g and vibrant selves tho – they didnt sign up to be on a panel with a 53 year old AND now 49 year old, they’re both still so youthful. I sound ageist as hell but it is what it is.
We’ll see what she brings – but the whole show dynmaic is not going to be like before!
I hope she leave Beverly Hills housewives because she BRINGS NOTHING to the show other than being the first African American women on the show.
Why can’t we see this postive energy when it comes to bey or rih or even mtherfckn ci???

Can they just cancel this show already? The show was finished when Tamar left. Yes, it won awards and was still technically around, but it lost all of its sauce. The people stopped caring. Garcelle Beauvais won’t add anything to the show. It’s a wrap. The show doesn’t even come on in all markets in the United States. Cancel the show and let the cohosts move on with their lives.

Seems like a misfit but will give them a chance, we’ll see.
I wish they would replace Loni Love. She is so out of place on this scenario. Just look at her expression everyday.She looks like she doesn’t want to be there, or “these girls really make me sick”. Please leave the show Loni if you don’t wanna be there.
