Today brings with it the UK theatrical release of ‘Tenet,’ Warner Bros’ titan-sized blockbuster that promises action in earnest.
That Grape Juice had the pleasure of seeing the Christoper Nolan production ahead of its arrival.
Join us below to find out why we feel the film may well be the most equipped release to revive the cinematic sphere yet.
Directed by Nolan and headlined by John David Washington (son of Denzel Washington), the Sci-Fi action thriller centres on a Protagonist tasked with saving the world.
While it’s well-treaded terrain in Hollywood, this time-twisting spectacle puts a fresh slant that will leave audience jaws ajar.
Billed as “evolving from the world of international espionage,” production on the title was a global affair, with filming spanning a seismic seven countries.
The end result is an arresting epic that sits comfortably beside Nolan classics like ‘Inception’ and ‘Interstellar’; an epic that looks set to cement Washington’s status as a definitive box office draw.
That Grape Juice Verdict:
Mind-bending brilliance! The film excites and engages in equal measure. From the onset, ‘Tenet’ a thrilling ride that accelerates at full-speed.
John David Washington delivers a standout performance as the potent Protagonist and is well-supported by stunning showings from the likes of Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Himesh Patel, and Sir Michael Caine.
Stellar.
This was honestly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It was so slowwww and dragged on, little to no action and I honestly was confused about what the movie was even about.
